Here is a fun DIY Thank You Note Garland project to start your Thanksgiving countdown!
Every night up until Thanksgiving, get together with family or friends and write down one thing you are grateful for on one of these cards. On Thanksgiving day, you can share and reflect on these gratuities as you sit together.
You'll need the following materials for the project:
- East of India's Boxed Mini Clothespins
- East of India's Envelopes (1 pack of 20)
- East of India's Notepad
- East of India's Thank You Rubber Stamp
- East of India's Boxed String
- Steamer (can use iron instead)
- Command Brand removeable mini hooks
- Chalk ink pad (white)
How to Create the Thank You Note Garland:
Start by stamping all of the envelopes with the Thank You stamp in white chalk ink.
Next, unravel one of the little skeins of paper string, cut it around 6 feet long (or to the desired length) and steam it to get the creases out. If you don't have a steamer, hover an iron over it and burst steam onto it, this will relax the creases.
Now follow the instructions on the package to put one removeable hook up (I used the ones that hold up to 1/2 lb). Tie the other end of the string onto the other hook and put that hook up. Wait an hour (as directed on the hook instructions).
After an hour, you can pin up your empty Thank You envelopes with the mini clothespins.
