Put Your Stamp On It

Whoever said its what is on the inside that counts never had a gift that looked this good.

Emulating this look is easy. Instead of your usual wrapping paper and ribbon opt for kraft paper and twine. East of India makes a thick and well-crafted label available in cream, kraft, and black. Using free hand write the sentiment. Get creative and play with different scripts, better yet try a calligraphy pen! Talk about an expensive look for far less.

I absolutely love the aesthetic of these gifts. It looks as though a lot of time went into creating these DIY masterpieces, but don't let their craft fool you. The main component of these looks is paper tape.  If you have never experimented with paper tape before, I highly recommend it. A practical office supply but with a stylish twist. You're not going to want to hide this tape!

Another way to spice up any gift tag is to add your own touch, put your stamp on it so to say. We have this great To and From Rubber Stamp that along with one of our labels makes for an easy DIY tag. Have extra time on your hands? Use an embosser pen and heat gun to leave your recipient in awe!
